2012 Scituate LL Spring Season Registration | Scituate ...

On-line registration for the 2012 Scituate Little League season is available. Scituate Little League has a family maximum cost of $350. If you register multiple children in your family on-line, and the fees total more than $350, you will receive a rebate for any payments made over the $350 family maximum.

If your child is new to Scituate Little League, you will need to provide an original of the players’ birth certificate – we will make a copy for you. If you are volunteering for coaching, please obtain a volunteer application from the forms section of our website and provide the completed form, along with a photo copy of a valid Massachusetts ID (i.e. Driver's License). For Questions - please email info@scituatelittleleague.org. We encourage all players and parents to register early. Due to field availability, sign-ups will be based on a first come first serve basis. The league will try to accommodate late registrations but cannot guarantee a position in the league.

The dynamic female trio that began as a happy accident around a campsite (at the 2004 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival) is now drawing invitations from renowned historic national events like Merlefest, and is winning over audiences around the country. Spurred onward by an ever-growing and devoted fanbase, and the desire to commit themselves to touring farther from home, Red Molly is at the start of a new and exciting musical chapter. After six years of touring, the band announced that guitarist/bassist Carolann Solebello will leave the group in August 2010 to spend more time with family and pursue solo opportunities. Remaining founding members Laurie MacAllister (bass, banjo) and Abbie Gardner (Dobro, guitar) welcome the newest "Molly", Austin-based singer/songwriter Molly Venter, to fill out their lush, distinctive three-part harmonies. Over the last month of rehearsals and impromptu live performances in Hamilton Park, near their rehearsal space in Jersey City, the three women quickly nailed the essence of the Red Molly sound, while hinting at inspiring new musical possibilities in the months of touring that lie ahead. "We are busily reinventing fan favorites from our current recordings, while adding new material and collaborating on songwriting for the first time," says Gardner. "This is an exciting time for the band; we're so thrilled that Molly has joined us," adds MacAllister.

Sam Chase (CD Release Show)

Sam Chase

After hearing Sam Chase perform, you will quickly understand why he is considered one of the best, undiscovered talents in the industry. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering, Chase has been creating quite a buzz with his self-produced debut album 'Songs For Someone' released in June 2009. The album itself explores a few different genres displaying Chase's wide-range of influences, from the James Taylor-like "Shine" to the Alt. Country "Nebraska" to the Tom Petty-like "Sharpless Jones". While artists such as James Taylor, Jason Mraz and John Mayer all come to mind after hearing Chase, he writes and sings songs with a voice that is entirely his own-both soothing and effortless. Sam is also an award winning songwriter. Most recently he was the winner of the 2010 CT Folk Festival's Songwriting Contest and was a Top 10 finalist in the 2009 Solarfest Songwriting Contest as well. Sam has shared the stage with such artists as Rusted Root, Jonathan Edwards, John Pousette-Dart Band, Ryan Montbleau Band, Edie Carey, Caleb Hawley, Barefoot Truth and many more. Currently, Sam is based on the South Shore of Massachusetts, playing gigs throughout Cape Cod and Boston.
